Marriage was only created for legal reasons, to give the offspring of any union a claim to the joint estate.

You don't need to marry someone to love them, you don't need to be married to live together, you don't need to be married to have kids.

It's a scam, imho,

Don't care what we think, do what you feel is best for both of you and your future offspring.

Ontario deems you to be married after cohabiting after 2 yrs.

Atheist [humanists] are deemed to be a church for marriage ceremonies. So we have Athiest "priests". That's gov for you.

The ONLY reason i married my ex was because we wanted to go live in America,

We even had a kid 2 years before we married.

MY current Cambodia gf of 5 years is the same as my wife and i have already taken care of her if i pass ( brought land and house for her)
her family treats me like her husband
Do Not need a goverment to say we are married.

Not sure if this applies BUT if ur over 50 cant see the US embassy giving u a fiancee visa

You could travel to Singapore an marry there. not to difficult,

Thanks rich. I'm not over 50 and I have not heard of the US embassy denying a fiancee visa for this reason. Cambodia... Yes, over 50

This is a great definition to describe how I feel about the definition of marriage. I wish it were that simple. It sure would save me a lot of shit with the In-Laws. "When you marry? When You marry!?" every time I see them.
