Herd mentality I'm afraid, however that said I've never witnessed a crash anywhere other than the UK, where a joyrider mounted the pavement and if it wasn't for the bollard in front of me I'd of been squished.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

You must not get out much or drive around PP much. I saw 3 seperate accidents on Monday alone. For 2 of them, I watched cars hit moto drivers trying to get between cars fast like assholes and got what they derserved. 1 had already happened when I rolled past, it was between 3 motos, one of which was an older police officer sitting on a chair in the road doubled over in back pain.JUDGEDREDD wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 3:00 pm Herd mentality I'm afraid, however that said I've never witnessed a crash anywhere other than the UK, where a joyrider mounted the pavement and if it wasn't for the bollard in front of me I'd of been squished.

Come to Thailand, you will see real arseholes driving.
I love the pricks that pull out from a side road in front of you and then do 20km/hr. The pricks that tailgate at 100 km/ hr 1m feet behind you. Scooters passing on left and right at the same time and then cross in front of you and my all-time favourites, those that pass someone despite traffic is oncoming. Just flash the lights and they think oncoming will disappear like they were I dream of Jeannie or something. My wife has the new difficult to get drivers licence, in the two days of instruction and tests, no one mentioned dotted or solid lines and what they mean. Instead of a sign noting a dangerous intersection or curve, a statue of a zebra will do.

I have a birds eye view of the intersection with traffic lights on riverside and I also cross on the pedestrian crossing when the lights are green, ,,But no-one stops. I have counted up to ten cars and untold motos and tuk-tuks go through the red light.
When the traffic lights were installed 2 / 3 years ago , there was a news item in the papers showing a control room with screen monitors and staff that were saying the traffic lights could be controlled from there through the CCTV cameras above the lights.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
