I doubt that there was a permit issued to build that bridge.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Typical loggers bridge. Smash loads of scrub down into an excavation, add some large tree trunks and top with clay and red laterite.
Lasts surprisingly long, but this appeared to have too great a height of material over it and couldn't take a flash flood.

There are a surprising amount of cameras in the scrub. Even more surprising is what they apparently dont manage to record..hanno wrote:There are cameras covering every small bridge?

Looking at the video it does indeed look like phone footage. I know that every mom and pop shop has a camera, but I don’t see a lot of cameras trained on log and dirt bridges.Barang chgout wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 8:49 pmThere are a surprising amount of cameras in the scrub. The story made the Daily Mail, but they have reported that the Stung Treng accident happened in Siem Reap. Not even close.

This is the terrifying moment two motorcyclists were swept away after a bridge collapsed during a flash flood.
Kinak DaLi and Sok Vandy, soldiers from the 1st Light Infantry Division, were riding over the crossing made from logs and mud when it gave way due to the force of the river below.
They both plunged some 10ft into the torrent of water and have been missing since the accident yesterday afternoon in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.
