Chinese Woman Found Shot Dead on Sihanoukville Street

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

UPDATE
Preah Sihanouk province - Further details: Provincial police have reported that a Chinese woman was shot at 11:30 pm on 23 July 2019 at Village 03, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville. The perpetrators were three Chinese men who attempted to kidnap the Chinese woman, Zhang Dan, a 25-year-old casino worker living in Sihanoukville, and the woman's boyfriend, identified as Xiao LiZhi.

The exact sequence of events is not yet clear but it seems the victim was accidentally shot on the left side of her neck by one of the kidnappers when they were trying to bundle her into the car.
A gunshot was fired and the woman died instantly. Her body was then thrown on to the road and the kidnappers drove off leaving the boyfriend still at the scene. He is now being questioned by criminal police officers and a search is underway to find the killers.

Whether the development of Sihanoukville and some parts of PP is good or not is one thing. However, there does seem to be a fair bit of murder type stuff going on and one has to wonder exactly how ' good' this rush to embrace China is going to play out.

As long as they predominantly just fuck with and kill each other, Khmers won't give a fuck...they're making money hand over fist, pimping out their country to the Chinese.

In the mid to late 90s it was Taiwanese gangsters kidnapping rival protection groups...which died out as their influence became moot...now the PRC Chinese are back at it...

So old is new again.

Your probably right there. But when their are many more Makarov pistol semi-automatic pistols around that maybe bad news.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Do you mean all Khmer's, not giving a fuck and making money hand over fist?
Or just the select few that the vast majority are furious at for pimping out their country?

Or are such distinctions not important, just random slander?
