Recommendations for hospital/clinic for baby delivery - Siem Reap

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend a decent hospital/clinic in Siem Reap for a baby delivery? Khmer mother.

Should be able to handle a C-section if required.

Angkor International Hospital stands out, but is quite pricey.

Any personal experiences to share would be greatly appreciated.

Last time we were there, there was a very good Khmer gynecologist at Siem Reap Bangkok Hospital. They do offer a package for birth, BUT you have to get all your checkups done there to be eligible.

We made the trek to PP and went to Royal (also BKK hospital). As I feel their facilities are simply better than what is available in Siem Reap should something go wrong.

There are several local clinics that offer delivery services - if everything goes well, then they are ok. But if things don't go well its going to be dicey.
