How Trump’s Military Parade Dishonors The Survivors And Victims Of 9/11

One aspect of President Trump’s militarized photo-op takeover of the Washington DC July 4th celebration has not received enough attention. Lots of stories have reported that Trump’s tanks are unusual, controversial, a waste of money, a threat to infrastructure, and a potential politicization of what should be a nation gathering together to celebrate liberty and freedom. Some even cite a potential illegal violation of the Hatch Act. Missing is that rolling military vehicles, even on flatbed trucks, through the streets of an American city as a way to celebrate strength and power dishonors the victims and survivors of 9/11 terrorist attacks...... “America has always been a place where people fled other kinds of regimes that have tanks in their capitals as a symbol of despotism … Trump is turning this American military might … into a way to glorify himself and further an agenda which is seen as authoritarian.”.....

He was a racist, attention whore 25 years ago, things haven't changed. Even after the children, he wanted to be executed were proven not guilty by DNA he refuses to apologize. If that is what you want for Australia, a despot's ass kissing dimwit, you are welcome to him. If I remember correctly the Governor-General of Australia dissolved parliament when the nation no longer had confidence in your leader. tRump never had the majority of Americans vote for him in the first place. If it wasn't for the despot Putin's covert help he would be back bankrupting casinos and fleecing pensioners out of their life savings.

I was travelling with 2 Australian ladies that year, they were pissed that the POM's stuck their nose into Australia's business and that the influx of Italian and Greek immigrants was going to change the face of what was then a lily white, Uk descendants only nation. The young ladies thought I was a real gentleman as I didn t refer to them as Sheila. How things have changed haha
