both his parents are Mexican so thats his ethnicity so he is technically Mexican but he was born in Cali after his parents moved to the states

Both his parents are Mexican, they immigrated to America and lived along the Mexican border in Imperial on the El Centro/Mexicali border crossing, thats where he was born and raised, hes only American by birth,
He won 2 gold medals representing Mexico in the Junior Olympics and was representing Mexico in the 2008 Senior Olympics but lost in the qualifying stages
