Cambodia News: An unidentified Cambodian girl of mixed race is living a poor life with her auntie in Mondulkiri after being abandoned by her parents. But, does her father know she exists ?

The young blonde girl's very western features caught the eye of some foreigners visiting Mondulkiri, who were sad to hear that the girl was abandoned by her mother. They wonder if the girl's father knows he has a daughter growing up in deep poverty in Mondulkiri. The girl is working every day selling clams, and she doesn't seem to go to school.
A social media account name Malenn Small posted that " a Cambodian girl with dual nationality sold clams and lived with her auntie in Mondulkiri after parents abandoned her. Please share to let her father know about this information. "

Dual nationality as in she's got two passports or as in she's mixed? If she has two passports, then locating the dad should be doable.

Now, are they trying to locate the dad? If she's in Mondolkiri selling clams, I doubt her father wants anything to do with her. Sad.

The "dual nationality" is probably just an assumption by the FB poster Malenn Small. I couldn't really understand her English as it looks like Google translation, but the kid might actually be pure Khmer with unusually light complexion.

Dual nationality by its very definition means that the father registered her at his embassy so...
and to hold Cambodian nationality she would be on someones house book and the fathers name would be there.

My point exactly. If daddy registered her at the embassy, then it should be easy to locate him. That's gonna cost a few bills. Dunno if selling clams is that lucrative.

If the dad decided to let his babygirl sell clams somewhere in Mondolkiri, maybe she should steer clear from him. She seems perfectly happy with a phone case and her clams.
