Siem Reap Gyms
Any recommendations for gyms in Siem Reap? I'm looking for something within walking distance of the Pub Street hotels that has a squat rack (not a smith machine). I primarily do barbell stuff (squat, bench, deadlift, etc.) and can make do with dumbbells or machines for accessory stuff. Angkor Muscle Gym seems like my best bet from what I can tell, but I'm open to other suggestions. Air conditioning isn't necessary, but I wouldn't hate it.

Nothing? Is this the wrong place in the forum to post this kind of question?

Angkor Muscle gym is likely your best bet. They have lots of dumbells and a squat rack (and also a smith machine). They did get some new equipment a month or two ago so some stuff got moved around (and sold off). But believe my statement about the squat rack is still true - been away for a few weeks.
There is a "nicer" gym next to/above the Thai supermarket on Samdech Tep Vong (street intersects Sivatha at the traffic light with a gas station/burger king). But as I've never been there I can't really comment.
To walk to Angkor Muscle gym from hotel I'd recommend walking over to the night market across the river and then make a right - go along the river and you'll have the gym on your left after about 10 minutes.
$1 admission - small bottle of water .25 - large bottle $1. No outside beverages. Enjoy!

Do you know this place to have a squat rack? I found them on google maps and looked at all the photos I could find, but didn't clearly see one. It'd be awesome if it did; it looks like a nice place.

Yes I think so, go along and just take a look, they will show you around without any commitment and you can then get a feel for the place.EarlyCuyler wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:18 amThanks for the reply.DaveG wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 11:24 amEarlyCuyler wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 2:03 am Nothing?
