Man Stopped with Carload of Snakes

Cambodia Breaking News (Pursat): On 24 May 2019, at 10 am, the forestry administration of North Tonle Sap of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Pursat, stopped and searched a van which delivered 78kgs of snakes in 5 boxes, on National Road 5, Toul Makak village, Sangkat Roleab, Pursat.

According to the van driver who had his wife and his daughter along with him, he was just delivering the five boxes from Battambang and he didn't know they were full of snakes.

However, the driver and his van were taken to the Department of Forestry administration in Pursat to sort out the legal procedure.
