German Backpacker (CARSTEN METH) is Missing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia & His Girlfriend is Worried
Please be on the lookout for a German national, Chris (Carsten Meth), who went missing in Phnom Penh on May 6, never to return, and hasn't been heard from by her or his family since. They are all very concerned.
From the Phnom Penh & Expat Forum Group on social media:
Hi everyone, thank you for letting me join this group. At the moment I need urgent help from you. My boyfriend left home around 7am on Monday May 6th with a green backpack, bringing with him an Asus laptop, 1 Iphone and 1 Asus phone. Since then I totally can't contact him on phone, social medias, email... And his family in Germany also couldn't contact him. This is very unusual, everyone is extremely worried because he has depression. We don't want to leave him be alone for a long time. His name is Chris (Carsten Meth), he is German, 180cm height, glassed, usually wears white (or black) T-shirt and jean. On his neck there is a special necklace. He also has a silver bracelet and another one on his right hand.
When he travels he likes to use couchsurfing or airbnb for staying and making friends. If you got any information or contact of him from couchsurfing, or by chance hosting him now, please kindly let me know. I already worked with the police and even went to the Embassy, but unfortunately they can't help me anything. So I'm counting on the community to give me a hand because I desperate now. I will be very grateful for any kind of help.
Sincerely thank you for your time.

So what
Now maybe this helps and someone will recognise him and update to his whereabouts
Not everything posted on CEO should be open for sly remarks

Bump, just hoping someone manages to find Meth in Phnom Penh as soon as possible.
