Danish Tourist NIELS FREDERIK CHRISTOPHER THIESEN Dies in Siem Reap Hotel

Siem Reap, Cambodia News: At about 11:50 pm on May 16, 2019, a 33-year-old Danish male tourist, NIELS FREDERIK CHRISTOPHER THIESEN, was discovered to have died in his Siem Reap hotel room. He had arrived in Cambodia at Siem Reap airport on 12 May 2019.

According to the competent police chief and paramedic, the victim died of high blood pressure causing a heart attack.

The body was moved to Phnom Penh to be kept temporarily at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital while waiting for the decision of the family and embassy staff.
