Stung Treng Petrol Station Ignites; 2 Injured
Stung Treng Province, Cambodia News: At 5:30 pm on May 3, 2019, a petrol station went up in flames in Dambougol village, Stung Treng province.
According to witnesses, just before the fire broke out, a car had driven up to the petrol tanks. People in the vicinity of the scene said that it was extremely hot, and then they heard two loud explosions and saw the smoke coming from the scene.
Two garage workers are reportedly injured and have been taken to hospital. Police used several fire trucks to combat the fire until 9:30 that evening.

Phnom Penh: Another petrol station went up in flames on 6 May 2019, in Por Senchey, Phnom Penh, however the fire was contained and prevented from spreading. The owner of the petrol station is Trich Hui, a 40-year-old female.
Seven cars and five motorbikes were destroyed in the blaze, but fortunately nobody was seriously injured. Police are still investigating the reasons for the fire.
