Kampot, Cambodia News: A 33 year old Norwegian man, THOMAS KRISTIANSEN , was arrested on May 3, 2019, at 10:45 am, for cheating, damaging people’s property, and overstaying his Cambodian visa for 37 days.

The suspect was sent to Kampot police station to follow the legal procedures.

Cheating, huh??

Why don't they station a set of cops in every classroom in the country? Would probably have to build a few more jails, but the government has money.

Or instead of jails, make a chain gang of all the cheating students and have them pick up all the garbage thrown on the side of the roadways. Good community service, with an eco-friendly benefit.

Yeah, I don't know what they mean by "cheating", but it's more likely to be not paying bills than cheating at school.

In the Kampot groups on facebook it been told that he and his girlfriend built up a tab for over 320dollar before his arrest and the girlfriend did a runner from it.

Girlfriends name is [ADMIN EDIT: NAME REMOVED].

The biggest question of course is why you let people with this appearance without visa create a tab of such size.

I have never run from a check in my life and this will not be the first. We are not criminals. We got the overstay because I hot sick. He stayed with me to look after me. I was throwing up blood. Now four weeks after I am still sick. At the hostel they kept saying you pay on checkout. Which was what we where gonna do, when I get money in a week. Of course. Those people where really nice to uss and I never thought to cheat or offend. Problem was I left the hostel for one day after an argument with Thomas. They must have asked for money because I left or something and he didn't have it then. He whould have had it on checkout. I am now still sick, I have never been through such a nightmare in my life, terrorfied of beein arrested. I don't understand all the hate in these pages. Why whould you judge so hard not knowing? And you found my facebook and published my name and face. Anyways. On our behalf we never ment to offend anyone and I don't think that we deserve this.
