amazing!!!
No need to carry $ or reil, have all your purchases deducted from your Chinese bank back home with a swipe of your phone!!!
https://www.phnompenhpost.com/business/ ... JznPG1dN8UCambodia and China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on tourism cooperation for 2019-21, one which aims to attract more Chinese tourists and investors to the Kingdom.
The MoU was signed by Cambodian Minister of Tourism Thong Khon and Lin Jingzhen, Bank of China executive vice-president, during the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing on Friday.
The content of the agreement includes product creation, marketing, promotion and the creation of online or digital payment systems for Chinese tourists.
No need to carry $ or reil, have all your purchases deducted from your Chinese bank back home with a swipe of your phone!!!
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Chinese Yuan Circulates in Banks Only, Not Cambodian Market: National Bank
30/04/19 02:26
Phnom Penh (FN), April 29 – China’s Yuan is only for transactions in banking and financial institutions, and that it does circulate in daily transactions between individuals nor in Cambodian market, Chea Serey, Director General of National Bank of Cambodia, told Fresh News on Monday as clarifications to misunderstanding.
“The use of China’s Yuan in Cambodian banking system is for reciprocal payments between Cambodia and China trade, not for general circulation like the US dollar,” Serey stated.
“We allow China’s Yuan in electronic payment systems such as Union Pay, WeChat Pay, and Alipay in the kingdom’s hotels, restaurants and travel agencies,” she added.
NBC’s goal is to promote the use of Khmer Riel, not to circulate Chinese Yuan and other currencies. The launching of Chinese Yuan in banking system in late October is to facilitate trade payment, she underlined.
Economic analyst Chan Sophal stated that Chinese Yuan in banking system will make it easy for Chinese tourists, businesses, and investors.
