Kampot: The Facebook page of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology reported slight flooding in Kampot town this morning, after heavy rain overnight on 27 April.

Kampot is a shitshow. The road going there is horrible, the smaller roads surrounding town are equally horrible, and apparently they even have flooding in town at the very beginning of the rainy season. Great start. Everything there will turn to mud from now till January. CPP all the way baby! God knows it would have been impossible for anyone else to have a bit more foresight regarding the current lack of water, power and generally shitty infrastructure. Back to 2009. Though at least there are a lot of generals (for now) to protect the people.

The top dam here in Osoam is at around 30% at the moment. Still pretty dry out here but afternoon thunderstorms most days. 5.5mm yesterday, 8mm the day before....
