Will It Rain Today?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Kampot is a shitshow. The road going there is horrible, the smaller roads surrounding town are equally horrible, and apparently they even have flooding in town at the very beginning of the rainy season. Great start. Everything there will turn to mud from now till January. CPP all the way baby! God knows it would have been impossible for anyone else to have a bit more foresight regarding the current lack of water, power and generally shitty infrastructure. Back to 2009. Though at least there are a lot of generals (for now) to protect the people.

A lot I think.
The top dam here in Osoam is at around 30% at the moment. Still pretty dry out here but afternoon thunderstorms most days. 5.5mm yesterday, 8mm the day before....
Garden's looking nice though.

Banish the thought... :plus1:

However the blood, sweat, vomit, faeces, other bodily fluids, toxic substances and microbial life forms all got flushed down the river :dm:

A lightning strike somewhere close to Riverside just killed my Android TV box :( It was even connected via my UPS which should have shielded it. Meh.
