Being a “single” woman in Phnom Penh

I think he’s English.violet wrote:What nationality was the guy who made the comment about a pressure cooker? Any chance it was undetected humour?rozzieoz wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 10:54 am I had a really funny one over the weekend.
I was sitting chatting to someone about Olive & Olive and how great it is. I was talking about the lamb shank that had been slow cooked in the pizza over for eight hours and just melted off the bone.
So the guy sitting on the other side of the person I was talking to leans over and says - "Eight hours! He should get a pressure cooker, it will be done in 40 minutes."
I told him that Olive & Olive didn't really need his advice, despite him insisting he's been a chef for twenty years and knows this stuff.
He called me rude and some other names and then said "I'm never going to talk to you again!" which was great actually, because I was about to suggest to him he do just that.

He's Australian.
He told me that he was there and speaking to the person sat between him and Roz alas not interrupting. Without passing judgement, he said that Roz had yelled at him not to interrupt their conversation.
I have no idea and I wasn't there. Just retelling what I've been told. I've met Roz and she didn't yell at me or behave rude so got nothing against her.

If he could communicate like a civilized adult, we'd have no issue with him expressing his opinions on here, but here's an email from them which kinda shows why we might not want him on here:
"Life is too important to take seriously."
"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

Yikes!...no doubt.
Still, no call for Username Taken to threaten me with mod preview over a cheeky question though.
Anywhoooo, all's well that ends well....
