Being a “single” woman in Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

There are a few definitions but I meant
Someone who is obsessed with listening to and creating music. Most can play more than one instrument, and do so at any opportunity.

Another "only in Oz" slang word. Do you lot invent these just to trip up people from other countries, and then secretly laugh at us?!

The laughing is not secret, we do it quite openly.

Lol. I have no idea where terms originate these days, having picked them up from the US, UK and Oz.

After the query I wondered if those unfamiliar with it pronounce it Muhzo rather than Myouzo ...and connect it with Muslim.

That word "muso" is also used in the UK.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

In Oz, it's normal to add 'o' to the end of words.
Like, Johno and Davo are musos, they play every arvo.

It’s a word pretentious people who don’t have a musical bone in their body call anyone who does.

Here John,

I'll pass on a little gem that's been indispensable to me whilst attempting to sift through the flotsam and jetsam on CEO:

[Mod Edit: Take a day off, as that came off as pretty insulting. Thanks.]
