Not all hanging are suicides in the KOW.

Not all hanging are automatically ruled as suicide by the cops in the KOW. Man was found hanged in a room at the workplace of missus’ niece. Cops are now searching for the niece for questioning.

It’s out in the provinces. Maybe reported (eventually) but probably won’t reported by CEO.

Anyways, she’s being written off the family book and the village chief is being told she isn’t a member of the family anymore.

What is she supposed to have done?

NKOTB: Are you saying that your niece is on the run from the cops ? She is wanted as what ? Witness or suspect ?
Im having trouble understanding what you are really saying here. More specific details would be good.

She was in the room next to the room of the guy who died from hanging at her workplace. The cops are saying absolutely not suicide. They are searching for her. As a witness or a suspect, not sure. She called missus out of the blue (missus blocked her number, she found another) with a ‘I need to get out of town fast’ plea.

Unfortunately she’s headstrong and stubborn and has been digging her own grave for quite a while.
Apparently access to a family book can be used to make fake IDs, thus a call to the village chief.

Most of her so called friends have been caught and are probably in Prey Sar by now. The family is doing all it can to avoid being sucked into this mess of her own making.

Okay, none of that sounds good. Your initial post reminded me of some dubious looking hanging suicides on some islands here a while back. Many appeared to have been tied by the neck at a very low level, which while not unheard of seemed a bit weird. There were a good few similar cases. To be honest I thought there was a serial killer there for a while. Maybe they caught him or he went elsewhere.

I doubt, that the average female is able to fake a suicide by hanging scene alone without accomplices.

If the person was dead before strung up, they can determine that fairly easily, and look for signs of injury or struggle. If its not a slam dunk, they are likely not wrong, because I feel it has to be pretty obvious for them not to overlook it.
