Woman in Critical Condition After Resisting Bag Snatch
Phomn Penh, Cambodia News: An unidentified Cambodian woman is in a critical condition in hospital, after she was the victim of a bag snatching attack on 10 April 2019.
The report says that the woman was riding in a tuktuk, when two men on a Honda Dream with no license plates pulled alongside and grabbed her bag. The woman resisted, holding her bag tightly, and then she was flung out of the vehicle on to the road where she hit her head and was knocked unconscious. An ambulance was called and the woman is still in hospital with head injuries.
Concerned citizens are calling on police to curb the bag-snatching crime wave in Phnom Penh, saying that they feel unsafe.

Cops back home would have these jaos mopped up in a day. So incredibly easy to spot. I see them every day.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: Concerned citizens are calling on police to curb the bag-snatching crime wave in Phnom Penh, saying that they feel unsafe.
Two young grubby males, helmetless, license plate either obscured or missing, speeding through traffic, performing the double dip, for lack of a better term (you know, lean hard left then right to quick pass another moto). It’s a simple matter of a political will sorely lacking. After all, nobody in a Land Rover gets their bag snatched.
