Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On April 09, 2019, the Anti-drug Department of Cambodia National Police arrested three suspects for drug trafficking.
The General Mok Chito, deputy director of the national police, in charge of anti-drug, reported that the police detained three suspects yesterday; two remain unidentified, but the third suspect has been named as Lieutenant Hor Rapinath, director of the Department of Finance of the National Royal Gendarmerie.

According to the General Sao Sokha, Commander of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of the country, any officer found to be involved in drug trafficking must be held accountable and face legal action.

It was not stated whether this case is linked to the drug raid at Rock Entertainment Center, which has led to the arrests of a number of police officers and well-connected businessmen, but there is definitely a clean-up going on, with a surprising number of officials arrested recently on suspicion of involvement with drug-trafficking.

There really does seem to be an honest-to-goodness clean-up going on in Bodge.
