It's just "civilisation".

The more it's civilized the more the society is feminized. The more masculinity (being a strong individual) is seen as dangerous for the group. So step after step , even straight men, behave like women to survive.
Lack of masculinity > won't take risk to be rejected > suppress sex desire or put in "zero risk sex like experience " (porn, peep show, prostitution , etc..)

Makes a society where everyone is unhappy. Men because don't have the courage to go ask a woman. Women because they don't fuck.
