In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Hey explorer, this is for you buddy:

Every forum has an idiotic shitposter who thinks he's imparting some sort of insighful wisdom when in reality his shitposts are just shitposts. Explorer seems to be this forum's one of those.

If people are warned about scams, they know what to look out for and dont get scammed.
If they are not warned, they may become the next victim.
There are some people on this forum who dont know what goes on. To you people, you can learn. Even if you are not sure if it is true or not, you can take precautions to minimize your risk of being scammed.
There are some people on this forum who do know. Some of these people try to present a fake good image. People doing this are opening the door for others to get scammed.
There are others who do know, who dont post the truth, as they are concerned about being accused of being racist, putting down the locals, or being excessively negative.
They recently had a commission into the banking fraud in Australia. It became headline news. New laws were introduced to reduce the likelihood of fraud in the future.
In Cambodia, many people deny it even happens. I challenge you to be honest so future victims are warned. There might even be something done to improve the situation in the future.
Stopping fake money scams should be high priority.
The banks should be lobbying those who make decisions to stop the manufacture of fake money.
If they are not warned, they may become the next victim.

I am completely clueless but have never been seriously scammed (maybe overcharged by a Tuk-tuk once or twice or paid too much for a pineapple at the market) and honestly do not know what you are on about.explorer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 4:56 pm If people are warned about scams, they know what to look out for and dont get scammed.

@explorer. Not sure if this is deliberate, or if you have not read the OP, but you have turned the subject right around. The topic of the thread is a foreigner who is deliberately trying to scam a Cambodian bank. You are making it about poor barang victims, when that is not at all the topic. The Swiss man is a thief and the bank is the victim. Get it ?explorer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 4:56 pm If people are warned about scams, they know what to look out for and dont get scammed.
