We voted for brexit and are in the process of cancelling it. If we fail it will only destroy europe.

The tory leadership contest has started . here is the first picture from Rees-moggs campaign.DaveG wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 6:31 pm To the OP,
For one I wouldn't take much notice of what's written in the DM comic, secondly if Brexit is such a good idea why is the British PM pleading with the EU for extra time, they have had almost 3 years

PS, it is normal practice to set food safety standards, most countries do it, the DM true to form sensationalise what is already in place, bendy bananas and banning a cup of tea in the morning, Ffs .

Re: Pork pies, ham sandwiches and cheddar cheese rolls.
Why would you take your own food with you from England to France anyway ? More to the point is, will the Brits stop people bringing in stinky cheese from France ?
Re: Pork pies, ham sandwiches and cheddar cheese rolls.
We have our own stinky cheese in England which the french quite like. The most famous is called Stilton although its not made anywhere near there anymore. Apart from that I think the only 5 english food items any brit needs to take when going to less gastronomically advanced countries :Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 8:10 am Why would you take your own food with you from England to France anyway ?
