Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: At 5 pm on April 3, 2019, following the orders of General Choun Narin, the provincial police chief, local police from Preah Sihanouk province's police commission have cracked down and detained many Chinese nationals who were involved in violent fighting at the Nanhai Pearl Hotel Apartments in the 3rd District of Sihanoukville .
The authorities have stated that foreigners who come to work or stay in Sihanoukville must abide by the Cambodian Law, and foreigners who violate the law will be punished without exception.

Now they ought to start clamping down on the Voip scams and extortion rackets, upstairs operations like they do in every other place but SHV . Maybe they must give them a get outa jail free card at SHV airport arrival.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: Another incident of violence involving large numbers of Chinese nationals in Sihanoukville was reported by police on April 1, 2019.
On the evening of 1 April, eight Chinese men were arrested for a violent disturbance using weapons at Pao May casino in Sihanoukville, scaring the customers and causing them to flee the premises. It is reported that there were up to 40 Chinese men in the casino lobby, armed with baseball bats and other weapons.

Sihanoukville police were called to the scene for an urgent intervention and detained eight suspects, while other suspects ran away to escape. The police confiscated six large sticks, six metal tubes, a metal stick, and a knife.
The detained suspects, all workers at the casino, were identified as REN GUO, 40-year-old, a stockholder at Pao May casino, WAN WEI ZHOU, 26-year-old, casino worker, ZHAO RONG BO,33-year-old casino worker, WAN DON, 38-year-old casino worker, ZHOU CHAO , 23-year-old casino worker, LIU GUANG YU, 40-year-old casino worker, and ZHOU JIE XUE, 25-year-old casino worker. The victim, LIN DA XIANG, 28-year-old, a worker at Pao May casino.
The suspects were taken into custody by police on charges of violence.
