AirAsia's card fee is lower if you have a card with UnionPay on it (e.g. ABA's regular ATM card)Doc67 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 9:14 amAir Asia charge $12 for using a visa card to pay (ABA account). You can use other payments, like Big Pay but you need to be a Malaysian resident. I haven't looked into the other options.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 1:33 pm ...including the visa aprocessing fee"
?? what fee?
Sept is LOW season, great deals on hotels and waves on the west coast !!!
What's the weather like in September? Pissing down all the time?

Or just book it through online travel agency like trip.com or such. If you search a bit you probably get it even cheaper than on AirAsia's own website and no extra credit card fees.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 1:25 pmAirAsia's card fee is lower if you have a card with UnionPay on it (e.g. ABA's regular ATM card)Doc67 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 9:14 amAir Asia charge $12 for using a visa card to pay (ABA account). My 'physical' ABA debit card does not have Union Pay on it. Also, I only use a 'virtual' card with a very low limit on it ($500) when booking flights and guarantee bookings for hotels . I don't trust them with access to all my funds via the full debit card.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 1:25 pmAirAsia's card fee is lower if you have a card with UnionPay on it (e.g. ABA's regular ATM card)Doc67 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 9:14 amAir Asia charge $12 for using a visa card to pay (ABA account). Re: Air Asia; Phuket- Phnom Penh direct
been using cc online since u could use cc online, never had a problem.
am sure u can pay air asia at a travel agent, here we can even pay at 7/11
how can trips be that much cheaper> did u go thru the whole process?
like agoda always seems cheaper than booking.com cause they dont give ya the full charge till check out..
same booking ur visa for Cambodia, they dont give ya the visa charge till last step
Anyway, as to ur question, some times rains, sometimes overcast, sometimes sunny, like yesterday it got dark, rained and 30 minutes later sun was out
wow looked at trips, flight was cheaper BUT they want $37.80 for a checked bag
still free carry on

I will try but as we are talking a few bucks it seems a bit trivial and cheapskate I seem to remember an airaisa office on riverside...phuketrichard wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 8:06 am been using cc online since u could use cc online, never had a problem.

I'm a carry-on baggage traveller. I try to get an apartment with a washing machine to make life easier.
I am thinking about Patong Beach. Any recommendations for a good apartment block? Good bars?

Re: Air Asia; Phuket- Phnom Penh direct
ur opinion.
FEW studio. 1 bedroom apts have washing machines. BUT plenty of laundromats everywhere
There are condos/apts blocks all over the island, i dont care for Patong, only go to Junk ceylon on sunday to eat lunch and shop at Big C and never go to bars.

Think it has to be the "classic" ATM card. Should have the Union Pay logo bottom right corner on the front and NOT Visa/Mastercard logo.Doc67 wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 7:26 amMy 'physical' ABA debit card does not have Union Pay on it. I'll go to the ABA Branch and see if I can get another card with Union Pay on it. Thanks for the advice.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 10:38 amThink it has to be the "classic" ATM card.
