Man Arrested for Disrespecting Cambodian Flag
Siem Reap, Cambodia News: A man who wrote the word "dog" on a Cambodian flag on social media was called for questioning by police on March 24, 2019, at Tropang Sek Village, Sangkat Kork Chork, Siem Reap.
Brigadier General Huot Sothy, Deputy Commissioner for Internal Security Affairs of Siem Reap Provincial Police Commissariat, said that in cooperation with the police force, he identified a suspect who posted the Cambodian flag with the word "dog" written on it. He added that the suspect is listed on his identity card as Mr. On Soun An, male, 26, a Khmer resident of Trapeang Sek village, Siem Reap, and he is a member of the Funcinpec political party.
The man has been arrested and sent to the Siem Reap provincial court for legal action.

I believe in freedom of speech, but I also agree with some activist limits, and this is the correct course of action IMHO.

Is there some significance of the word dog? It's clearly a demeaning word to call a person but it's not usually used to disrespect a flag / country?
