Short Break in Taiwan

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Yong,

This first class flying is amazing. At the Cathay Pacific lounge waiting for the flight. Got the perfect soup dumpling. An entire steamer tray dedicated to 1 dumpling. Also made to order rice soup, noodle soups, spring rolls, and about half a dozen more items.

Ended up getting 2 dumplings.

Could not imagine before what throwing crazy amounts of money gets in flying. Of course it’s a once in a lifetime deal. Ain’t nothing left in the bank now.

Flight from Hong Kong to Phnom Penh delayed.

Missus wants me to charter a direct flight from Taipei to Phnom Penh. First class is crazy money. Can’t even dream of what a charter flight would cost or even how to arrange one.

Melt in your mouth slices of beef in Taiwanese beef noodle soup.

I’ve got a cough and sore throat, missus is miserable, but I’m trying to live it up as much as possible.

She wanted seats next to each other. And as short as possible. Shortest flights were 6 hrs, which is now delayed. A couple of flights at 8 hrs. Most of the rest 10 and 12 hrs. Forgot where Air Asia was in the pecking order.

Sounds like your bride rules the roost. Soon the thumb print on your forehead will be so deep you will have a permanent mark of submission.
Learn to say no sometimes. If not sitting together on a flight costs $1000 and sitting together means upgrading to seats worth $3000 then a few hours apart will not do any harm.
You need to grow a couple.
