Room for rent Shv.

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

Room for rent Shv.

Post by Hotdigr »

Big room for rent in share house. The house is HUGE - 3 storey, 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, large lounge room, huge kitchen. T.V, lounge, fridge, gas cooker, small Akira oven. Completely secure and has parking for moto's. The room has a queen sized bed, small wicker dresser, wall fan and floor fan. Presently 5 people live there of which 2 work fly in/ fly out in Australia and only spend (at most) 1 week a month here. You have your own bathroom (not ensuite) which doesn't have hot water, but you are also welcome to use 1 of the 2 bathrooms that do have hot water if that is your thing. Electricity at 820r/kw hr, water at whatever the normal price is. Our average elec. bill is around $10 ( except this month where same as everyone else's, it tripled due to the multitude of brownouts and blackouts) and average water around $4. Location is behind Fortuna Casino near Luxxe apartments, if I really stride out, I can walk to the Lions roundabout in about 8 minutes. The only drawback is its a bad dirt road and can be a pain in the arse in the rain, not so much if you have a bike though.
Rent is $300 divided by the amount of rooms rented ie, we presently have 4 rooms rented so our rent is $75 a month each, with 5 rooms rented it is $60 each. We don't intend to rent 6 rooms so we have 1 spare for friends/guests if need be.
This is a working household definitely NOT a party house. We all live well together and in fact very rarely see each other due to our different work schedules.
I don't think you will find anything to compare for the price.
Interested? PM me on this forum.
Cheers,
Dave

That looks great value, just a shame it isn't in Siem Reap but I am sure someone will snap up such a good bargain
