Info needed about destitute Irishman

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Info needed about destitute Irishman

Post by bobsboots »

I am posting this on behalf of an Irish friend of mine who is looking for a fellow countryman of his.
Here's his message............'

" David Crowley, aka Mad Murphy, owner of 'Mad Monkey' in Siem Reap, has been living on the streets near GSM for about a year. The Irish embassy got in contact with me, and, presumably, other Irish expats recently. They made contact with him around Christmas but have since lost contact
Any information would be greatly appreciated. "

Well, either the Irish friend doesn't know the guy that well, or you have fucked up the message in passing it on.

Specifically, the name of his former S. R business.

Anyhow, last time I saw him he was still mad and not destitute, but I don't know if that was 6 or 16 months ago.
