Drunk in Lexus Smashes Two Cars, Two Motos, Puts Two in Hospital
Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia News: At 8:00 pm on February 23, 2019, on the National Road No. 5, in front of Banteay Meanchey provincial hall (Circle 32), in Sisophon City, a drunk man caused a traffic accident, hitting two cars and then two motorcycles when he lost control of his Lexus.
Police said that a Lexus car, driven by 41-year-old Phin Waya, was driving fast from west to east, overtaking in dangerous road conditions, when it collided with two cars and two motorbikes.
The two drivers of the motorbikes were severely injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital.
The driver was breathalysed and found to be over the legal limit. He has been arrested.
