Have I been pronouncing KWest restaurant wrong for over ten years?
I've always pronounced it "Kay-West"
It occurred to me a few weeks ago that maybe I should be saying "Quest"

Lucky your're not referring to the pronunciation or romanised spelling of a khmer word ...that really would kick off an avalanche

I know logic doesn't belong in such discussions but wouldn't it be Kwest and not KWest if it were pronounced Quest?
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

But K-West doesn't mean anything, it's a nonsense term, and wouldn't they hyphenate it if it were pronounced K-West? Aren't they clearly doing a cutesy spelling of "Quest"?

It's Kwest (quest) but the logo design makes it seem like it's Kay West.

Hmm, I asked the owners many years ago and I seem to recall that they told me it was Kay West.

Also, it turns out the file format is supposed to be pronounced "jiff" - according to the attention-whoring tech-head who invented it and wanted his three seconds of fame. Because Graphics Interchange Format would naturally be rendered "jiff".
