Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

We need more road deviders , they do a better job of
getting drunk drivers off the road than the police do.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Very strange car. Crash into something, and the wheels don't match!

Most likely she drove the car up the sidewalk and the tail hit the end of it.

Looks like the steering wheel airbag deployed. Means it isn’t a total wreck that was just fixed up and shipped to Cambodia. Probably saved her life.

Looks like a spare tire (thuiskomertje), you are not supposed to drive faster than 40kmh or 25mph.

Yuh, if it's one of those space saver spares. Only designed to get you to a tyre shop. What's the bet she'd been running around in it for some time like it's a normal tyre + alcohol = accident.

Geez... What are those cars made of? Plastic? That thing is demolished, front and rear. That's quite an accomplishment. I once had a rear tire blowout and just carefully slowed down and pulled over. No automatic accident, but then she is intoxicated!

That’s the point. They’re called crumple zones.
