Hunt for BMW GS After 81 Year Old Killed in Hit and Run

An 81-year-old crossing the road was hit by a high powered motorcycle on National Highway 4 at Phsar Chas, Chom Chao 3, Khan Por Senchey at 12:50 pm 07 February 2019: Victim, 81, from Kantouk Commune, Por Senchey District, was crossing the road with his bicycle and had his hands in the air to slow traffic. The big motorcycle, going at speed hit the victim who died at the scene.

The motorcycle, reported as a yellow BMW GS*, did not fall and sped away from the scene after hitting the victim. A clue was left behind, as some plastic from the motorcycle was found after the crash. Authorities are now searching for the motorcycle and rider.

Was looking at bikes earlier, and someone posted an ad for a yellow bmw gs, 3 hours back. (https://www.khmer24.com/en/motorcycles/ ... 40382.html)

Somehow, I don't think that is the bike. The panel looks off, but how common are yellow bmw's in kh? A search on the site shows only 3 other yellow GS's ads in PP, for the past few years.

Dont actually know he was speeding. I think the peed limit will be 40 to 60km/h depending on if it is built up or not, plenty fast enough to kill an old man. I am pretty sure he woul dhave come off if he was going really fast

I dunno. I've not experienced running over pedestrians on my big bike, happily.

I have hit a few moderately to large sized dogs at high enough speeds and didn't do much more than wobble.
