I'd normally agree, as it sounds pretty logical, but dipshits like him seem to be able to continue scamming people damn near forever in Cambodia without catching an overdue ass beating.

Based on various Facebook posts over the years, many Western establishments seem very reluctant to get the police involved over petty crime, so they seem to be able to go around doing this forever until they cross the path of a Khmer who isn't having it. And that could be a while.

James Joseph Robert Whitlow seems to still be hardcore scamming people in Cambodia, now in Phnom Penh with his reported girlfriend, Jamie Louise Rhodes.

A Cambodian is saying they stayed at his place without paying and he also let them rent a motorbike without handing over a passport as a deposit.

I hear James Whitlow might be using passports with the names 'Donald Emmans' or 'David Donnelly' in them.

But this is Cambodian, man. Someone will just pay tuk tuk drivers to beat him up. That happens all the time. Every white guy has a tuk tuk driver on speed dial who will arrive with his other tuk tuk driver friends at the drop of a hat and beat up a white guy for $20. They will be there as soon as they are finished beating up that other white guy they saw hitting a Cambodian woman.
