We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Something like 70 of the Catholic church's saints were Catholic priests. Catholic priests also have their own patron saint.

:beer1: I am not quick to judge but your thought that he may be a "saint" reads more like an indictment than a defence.

I should be more precise. I put it in commas to say not a real saint as in the religions but someone who try’s to do a good deed. Wasn’t sarcastic.

Assuming for the moment he is innocent he's doing a better job than Ellise. But what's happened to him is what everyone said would have happened to her if she was a man.

And whether guilty or not it is crazy to keep your Facebook page public.

It is really sick that innocent people go to jail, and have their lives destroyed, so he can get more money.

Before coming to Cambodia, Mr Mulroy was working as a Business Studies teacher at Trinity Catholic College, Lismore, NSW, Australia.
As a teacher, he was popular with students and had all positive 5* ratings on the Rate My Teachers internet site, until recently, that is:

I hope he's guilty, 'cos he is now tarred and feathered as though he is. I wish there were some way to balance the thin line between protecting innocent children from molesters and protecting innocent men from vengefulness.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

TBH, I am even afraid to speak of this org. I wonder what kind of files and photos they have on any and every single white male traveler. An independent organization that is not subject to the same rules as any lawful police organization, yet working collaboratively with them. The mission sounds good, in fact it is good, but as I have said before, the solution to the problem is self defeating as they would in fact shut themselves down.

The article in the link provided should be mandatory reading for EVERYONE here, most especially men.

I don't want to do it myself, but I think the entire text should be copied and re-posted in this thread.

People need to speak up about things that are wrong, that is the first step to fixing the problem.

It is against forum policy to copy large amounts of text from other websites.

One of my Facebook friends messaged me today, they lived next door to him in Australia and according to them, he is NOT innocent.

This is what they said:
"The bastard was a secondary teacher in a catholic school in Lismore he lived next door to us. We saw 1st hand what he got up to. My husband was literally run out of the police force because he brought this bloke to the attention of the school authorities. They accused us of manufacturing stories and lies etc"

Just thought I'd pass that on. I've asked them to join the forum so they can comment on this thread.

As Violet said; I hope he's guilty, because his life is ruined either way.

My comments have been more generic about how vulnerable a person can be, and how much care should be taken, and on the tail end of that, I mentioned that the article posted is a very vital read for anyone living in Cambodia, most especially men.

BTW, I have already said I think he is likely guilty, so as not to be misunderstood as someone defending. But how could I know for sure?
