Expat claims he got $2000 in fake bills at ABA bank on Monivong
Re: Expat claims he got $2000 in fake bills at ABA bank on Monivong
If they were very high quality fakes, you wouldn't know it immediately without scouring each one, and even that wouldn't guarantee you catch it. There are some incredible counterfeiters out there as technology has improved. North Korea is notoriously expert at mass-making fake $100s.

I am amazed by the people who have come to the conclusion that this is not true.
In future I will take a smarter approach when withdrawing money, and check it more carefully. There is no harm in being careful, even if it never happens to you.

North Korea makes fakes, that even the experts cannot distinguish from the genuine.Stinkman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 1:45 am If they were very high quality fakes, you wouldn't know it immediately without scouring each one, and even that wouldn't guarantee you catch it. I have no experts on offer for an arrogant asshole, but I know for fact that the North Koreans have been been making what they call "super bills" that are good enough to fool anyone.Arget wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:29 amI think you should go to Wat Phnom and set up a throne and a sign saying "I know everything, just ask me"explorer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:06 amStinkman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 1:45 am If they were very high quality fakes, you wouldn't know it immediately without scouring each one, and even that wouldn't guarantee you catch it. That's a good statement to make. Obviously if the fakes cannot be distinguished from the real $100 notes no-one could hold them up and say this is a fake.Arget wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:29 amI think you should go to Wat Phnom and set up a throne and a sign saying "I know everything, just ask me"explorer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 7:06 amNorth Korea makes fakes, that even the experts cannot distinguish from the genuine.Stinkman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 1:45 am If they were very high quality fakes, you wouldn't know it immediately without scouring each one, and even that wouldn't guarantee you catch it. Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Arget you have a free choice not to believe anything you read.
Dont bother checking any money you get until after you find out you have fake notes. You might be lucky. It may never happen to you.

There have been fakes in circulation which have been used the same as genuine, and it has not been known which is which.
That is why they change the design of the notes, to make it more difficult to counterfeit.
