As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. It is an anaesthetic and has euphoric properties i believe.
If mr zmth is readng this he can elsborate as a devotee.
It was popular years ago among the barang and seems to be in favor with Chinese now.

Personally i avoid that kind of shit like the plague as i want to avoid the pagoda bbq as long as possible.

They used to use ketamine as an anaesthetic on adults, but they kept waking up saying they had seen god. So now it's only used on infants and animals like cats, dogs etc, because they can't conceptualise the weird visions/trip like adult humans can.

Sometimes used when people are in car accidents or similar due to the way it doesn't thin blood like other pain relievers can do, it's something that a dealer typically gets as a liquid and cook up in a frying pan to evaporate and then collect the residue, it makes things very wonky and can be rather funny, first time users need to be cautious as even a single line inhaled via nostrils can result in a k hole depending on the amount, quality and tolerance. A key (house key not kilo) of it is plenty for a first time users first bit. Treat with the upmost respect as a k hole is no fun.

And erm this is all told to me via someone I know

Edit fyi I'm not advocating, merely educating. Drugs are for mugs etc.

It's main advantage as an anesthetic is that it doesn't suppress breathing.

Yeah and it's also cheap to produce and easy to administer compared to other aesthetics so is favoured in developing countries. Really bad for the kidneys and bladder if used long term. There's a town in China where a lot of this was made illegally. Here's a decent article for anyone interested: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/id ... 36d3359bb0

Dissociative anesthetic, belonging to same family as Nitrous Oxide and PCP.

Benign stuff, which has proven antidepressant effects when used in extreme moderation although chronic abuse causes kidney/gall bladder/UT issues.

Overuse can cause you to piss jelly and lose your bladder, not a delightful thing to happen!
