More info on PP event?

Post by bvanfossen »

A friend told me today of a grand opening of a place similar to Diamond Island across the Japanese Bridge and their grand opening is this weekend.
They are having some new chinese tech fireworks display.

Here's the only webpage I can find on it:
https://www.dap-news.com/2018/12/28/ថ្ង ... ះ-ឈ្ន/amp/

Does anyone know more about it or a webpage with more info? I'm curious about the firework technology

There is no "Japanese"island, it's the Chruoy Changva Peninsula. The event you are talking about is the inauguration of the "Win Win Monument" which commemorates the end of the war in late 1998/ early 1999. It is on the Chrouy Changva Peninsula but quite a bit north of the "Japanese Bridge", it's on the road that runs from the Prek Pnov Bridge to NR6.

There's a thread here on the Win Win Memorial and the opening ceremony. There will be three days of celebrations. No information on the fireworks sorry.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if Google translate was accurate as it did say "win-win palace " for the name.

There's a map and all info on the back of my invitation. Sounds like you have not received yours yet.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Yep. I watched it and found it to be so amateurish. You would think that they practice marching and drill like a normal army. =@
