Whatever the girlfriend is called, she is the victim in this case. Don't forget, she has the right to anonymity. She is not on trial.
She's the alleged victim, also called the complaining witness. Witnesses and criminal complainants generally have no "right" to anonymity, unless there is some special court order giving them that right. Many newspapers choose, as a matter of journalistic ethics, not to publish the names of alleged victims of rape and sexual assault. I have not heard that this woman is alleging rape or sexual assault.
Ok. I'll rephrase that. Even if she has no legal rights, IMO outing the woman's identity on CEO would be a dick move. Both their names should not be disclosed IMO, but his name is already out there. I don't think that's fair either, but that's how things stand.

While I appreciate the tendency on this site to vilify women as scheming succubi, I would suggest that jilted lovers trying to give someone a hard time usually don't falsely declare they were given HIV. That would be a pretty extreme thing to make up, if she doesn't have HIV.
You're probably right however anything's possible imo. Wasn't intentionally trying to vilify just making the point that it's just an allegation at this point and people can't claim that she's a victim...yet.

It does seem however from this and the Steinmetz case, that anybody in Cambodia can make an allegation and the person that that is directed to is arrested and put in jail in the first instance. Whether or not there is any evidence from the onset.. Am I right? That is a concern to my mind.. Steinmetz had to 'buy' his way out of jail until he was able to face court to challenge the allegations.

On January the 2nd Amit contacted me and said:
They have not said anything nor have they done any tests on me to even confirm if the accusations are true. There has been nothing happening.
I haven't heard anything since then.

I sent him a message on facebook that said:
Hi, Who do the cops say you gave HIV to?
He replied:
They have not said anything nor have they done any tests on me to even confirm if the accusations are true. There has been nothing happening.
I then asked:
Where are you?
He hasn't responded to that one yet.

If it was me, i'd get the test myself done, so i'd know 100%
he's in denial if he wont get tested
or
fucking scared of the truth
