Cambodian High School Students Snatch Bag from Foreign Woman in Short Shorts

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: At 12:10 am, on December 16, 2018, the police force of Bek Keng Kang 1 captured two bag-snatchers at the corner of 302 and 51 Street in Boeung Keng Kang I, Khan Chamkarmon. Both thieves are Cambodian high school students; one aged 17, and the other is 19 years of age.

The victim, an unidentified foreign woman, was walking along the road with two other foreigners when the teen hoods rode up on their motobike and snatched her bag. The bag contained only US$24 and 2,000 Khmer Riel, but the woman was very happy to recover her belongings.

Both suspects were sent by Boeng Keng Kang Administration Police Station to the Police Inspectorate of Chamkar Mon District to be charged for their crime.
