Can anyone share a jewelry store in Phnom Penh that sells quality jewelry with gemstones?
I have a friend visiting who’s interested in purchasing a piece with a ruby or emerald while in Cambodia.

Unless you know ur stones, be VERY careful n Cambodia, head over to the jewelry trade center off Silom road in Bangkok

Well known among the Cambodian elite and has made jewelry for both the king and the PM. Doesn't have website but is easily found on Facebook.

yes, Chan is one of the better places in the world to buy stones, and lots of gem labs there too to make sure you do not get ripped.

Pailin is a pretty rough place and word gets out quickly that you want to buy gems that means you have money which makes you a target. So best to set up meetings ahead of time and not just go there and ask around.
