Multiple (concurrent) K visas

Post by walkjivefly »

Our son already has a K visa in his Ecuadorian passport.
Tomorrow I'll pick up his shiny new UK passport.
We'll take a trip to Thailand soon.
I'm guessing there's nothing stopping us getting a K-visa in the UK passport when we return?

Cheers. No, he doesn't have a Cambodian passport. I didn't think they do kids passports here.

What made you think that? They definitely do, as stated above 5 year validity if under 12. Can no longer be added to mothers passport.

Even before the new bio metric passports were introduced children could get their own passport, but most just got the children added to the mothers passport because it was cheaper.

Can't remember where, but I'm sure I read it somewhere between about 6-12 months ago. Oh well, that's good news, theoretically. No doubt we'll get ballache from various numpties in the process. Missus hasn't managed to get him on her family book yet...
