Drunk Takes Knife to his Brother After being Shushed
Kandal province, Cambodia News: On November 13, at 10:10 pm, Sath Soy, a 35-year-old construction worker, was detained after attacking his brother with a long knife during a bout of drinking at Kampong Trea village, Saang district, Kandal. The victim Sath Eang, 38-year-old, was injured in the leg.
Before the incident, the suspect was very drunk and was yelling loud enough to wake up the neighbor. His brother told him to stop yelling and turn down the volume a bit; this made the drunk man so angry that he took a long knife and hacked at his brother.
The police were called to the scene to stop the argument and they took the victim to the hospital. The suspect was detained at Saang police station to follow the legal action.
