Re: Stop Bag Snatching
As suggested by the OP, I've had a look at the GFM page. Well, OP, it sounds like you have had a rough time here, and it's a nice gesture to think of supporting other victims, OP, but I agree with the poster JB that prevention is better than cure. Take out insurance and get streetwise. And WHY are people walking around with all their passports, papers and credit cards etc ? Don't do this. It's ridiculous.
I'm not saying that "this is just the way it is here", and, disagreeing with your GFM idea is not trolling. I just don't see the point in providing free insurance for foreigners, but if people want to give money to relatively rich people in a relatively poor country, then fine with me.
Good luck with your ventures. I hope you have changed apartments, or at least changed the lock.

I'm not a rich foreigner that's why I started it and my friends who are victims aren't either.

My best friend anywhere I travel
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.
Re: Stop Bag Snatching
What would be a really great gesture, would be if you donate everything you make, in, say.... the first 6 months, to the widow of the guy who died in the bag snatching yesterday (may have been this morning). While you aren't rich, they are just humble flower sellers. I'm sure they probably don't even own a camera. In fact your camera would have been nothing but a dream for them I imagine. In fact I'm sure they couldn't afford to travel on a plane ( even a "budget" airline and holiday in a new country. In fact I'm sure they don't even have passports, because they can't afford them They would be to busy just trying to feed their kids to worry about camera's and passports and international travel. That sort of worry is only for poor barang people, certainly NOT poor Cambodians.
