Musical Instrument Shop Catches Fire in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On October 29, 2018, at 6:43 pm, a fire broke out at Samnang Thmey Musical Instrument shop, located on Monivong road, Sangkat Monorum, Phnom Penh. The shop owner has been identified as Lim Hak, an 88-year-old man.

The witness said that before the incident, the owner left the shop and locked the door, when suddenly, smoke started coming out of the shop. The police and the local people broke the lock to put out the fire before the fire could reach other houses, and called the fire brigade.The firefighters used four firetrucks to put out the fire completely.
The police determined that an electrical fault caused the fire.
