Cambodian petanque players have won another gold medal for the country from the World Games 2022 being held in the United State of America.

Ms. Ouk Sreymom and Ms. Un Sreya got the medal after defeating their French counterparts – Ms. Nadège Baussian and Ms. Caroline Marie Bourriaud – 7:5 in the Women’s doubles event.

Yesterday, Ms. Ouk Sreymom also earned a gold medal from Women’s Petanque Precision Shooting after beating her American counterpart, Ms. Rebeka Howe 41:21.

The victory is another historical record for Cambodia to succeed in such international event.

This is the first time for Cambodia to join the World Games, an international multi-sport event held every four years, by sending only two petanque athletes to the event.

Taking place from July 8 to 15 in Birmingham of Alabama State, the World Games 2022 attracts the participation of some 3,600 athletes from over 100 countries.

What is that? 250 bucks? I'm sure that'll go such a long way 😂
