Weekend in Singapore
Re: Weekend in Singapore
Came to Singapore today for a couple of meetings......
At Suvarnabhumi Airport having Singapore coconut rice breakfast (nasi lemak)
Lunch at the famous fried Hokkien mee at Alexandra Village blk 127 coffeeshop
Originally from Beo Crescent
Heavenly
Dinner at Zion Road food centre
Always queue for this famous char kway teow stall
I think I just used up my next week's cholesterol quota

"I think I just used up my next week's cholesterol quota."
Who are you kidding? You have neither a cholesterol quota nor an appetite threshold.

Went to Eng Kee at 16 storey Tanglin Halt for lunch today - one of the best fried chicken wings in Singapore
Arrived there 12.30 short queue not so bad
Ordering
Lunch only US$2.60
Otah, egg, luncheon meat and 2 wings
The wings - every bite on every piece you can feel the juiciness.

My all time favourite is Ah Dee used to be found at the URA carpark at Dempsey however due to development he had moved up Dempsey Hill at the row of restaurants where Muthu's Curry is.
Went on Saturday night. From far it looks like some kind of party going on
You find Ah Dee hard at work QC the durians
Front is a lady opening durians
Look at the creamy durians Mao Shan Wang
Going home with these
Yummy
