830 Marijuana Plants Go Up in Smoke, Battambang

Battambang, Cambodia News: On October 12, 2018, the police cracked down on a thriving marijuana plantation in Ohtakom Pi village, Sangkat Toul Taek, Battambang.

The police burned down 830 marijuana plants grown in three separate locations.

The marijuana grower, a 35-year-old woman named Lean Mom, was reeducated, and agreed to stop growing the illegal herb and medicine.
