Oh, that's interesting.

(It's a genetic throwback from too much in-breeding, mate, pedigree Siamese all used to have a kink in the tail from the same issue)

Not according to the locals i have talked to, but I cannot say I've seen it done personally.

Have a chat with those same locals about genetics, DNA mutation, and inbreeding just to check they have a balanced view of the matter.
